Why use Speed Progesterone TM ? |
---|
A large individual variability complicates insemination predictions: 20% of female dogs ovulate "outside" the period between the 10th and the 14th day of heats. (1) Thus, the vaginal smear, and the progesterone dosage allow for planning of covering or insemination to obtain an optimal result. Before ovulation, the progesterone level is low. At the time of the LH peak, the concentration of circulating progesterone will gradually increase to 5 to 10 ng/mL at the time of ovulation. |
When to use Speed ProgesteroneTM ? |
---|
After pro-oestrus is monitored by smear, Speed ProgesteroneTM is used to determine the optimal date of covering or insemination. |
